The Production Trainer 3 will perform on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participate in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintain rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in operations or manufacturing with at least 2 years as an instructor.

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, not required to apply.

  • Able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc.

  • This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds and working overhead.

  • Experience with hydraulic parts, assemblies, components, and systems in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment

  • Experienced in/familiarity with training systems or programs

  • Ability and experience in analyzing, designing, and developing publications and training materials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in electrical and hydraulics systems

  • Experience with MES Manufacturing Execution systems

  • Read and Interpret blueprints

  • Inspection criteria

  • Compliance knowledge

Salary Range: $54,400 - $90,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
