Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Material Distribution / Handling Support employee to provide support to our Operations team in our Clearfield, UT offices.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

The Sr. Material Distribution Handling Support employee will perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping, receiving, picking, stocking and inventory control warehousing duties, which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts and other material handling devices, as well as computers and various software applications to maintain data.

Job Duties:

  • Class A CDL equipment operator, TA day cab tractor, flat bed, reefer, dry box vans, etc.

  • Receive materials on plant

  • Place material in kits, identifies kits, and transportskits to storage or point of use

  • Perform safe handling and processing of hazardousmaterial(s)

  • Capable of working in a harsh environment. Tasksinclude working inside a -10 Degree F Max freezer

  • Perform inventory and maintain accurate inventorylevels

  • Package and ship end item parts

  • Issue material to work orders/Kanban

  • Transfer, impound, and label materials

  • Primary duties will be in receiving, shipping, andstores

  • Operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jacks (manualand powered), small trucks

  • Must comply with company policies and procedures and bewilling to work in a defined TEAM environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Combination of 4 years of experience working inwarehousing, inventory management, receiving, shipping and CDL driving capacity

  • Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card and drive 40' goose neck trailer under 26,000 lbs.

  • Valid DriverLicense required

  • Ability to lift50 lbs., continuous standing and walking for extended periods and performphysical work on a regular basis

  • Experience withWord, Excel, and an inventory database

  • Shift work may berequired (Primary shift hours Thursday - Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.). Shift may besubject to change

  • Overtime andon-call duty may be required

  • Working 1 st , 2 nd or 3 rd shiftmay be required

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (education will beverified)

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification preferred

  • Costpoint ERP experience preferred

  • APICS training preferred
