Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT.

The selected candidate will support multiple directors within the Aerospace Structures Business Unit.


  • Serve as an administrative focal point for Engineering, Quality, and Operations directors and staff

  • Serve as back up to Executive Admin

  • Proactively engage to coordinate schedules and meetings to minimize conflicts

  • Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures

  • Make domestic and international travel arrangements and prepare expense reports

  • Screen callers and make accurate referrals

  • Build and maintain SharePoint repositories

  • Record and distribute clear and concise notes during staff meetings

  • Coordinate and support staffing metrics and activities for a large organization

  • Prepare and disseminate multi-media communication to staff as needed

  • Create and maintain organizational charts, rosters, and contact lists

  • Initiate and organize engagement events

  • Track inventory and order stock and custom office supplies

This individual will work a 9/80 schedule: 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday, 8 hours on Friday with every other Friday off. Our core hours are 9 - 3, and we have flexibility regarding arrival and departure times as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of administrative or relevant work experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience booking travel via Concur or similar system

  • Experience supporting high level management

  • Experience supporting large teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to acquire security clearance
