We are seeking a cleared or clearable PWB Designer who is self-motivated, energetic with knowledge and experience in, Electrical PCB/PWB design and is interested in joining our highly skilled ISR Hardware team to develop unique solutions critical to global security. This role will support on-going programs and rapidly growing business. The perspective candidate will participate in the design of RF and high speed digital boards, flexible circuits and antenna boards. These types of boards require the knowledge to route power supplies and ball grid arrays.
The selected engineer will:
Design components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, Solidworks.
Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposals.
Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
Exclude classifications in which incumbents predominantly perform drafting assignments.
Be able to handle QRC requests and understand priorities.
Design RF and high speed digital boards, flex circuits and antenna boards. These types of boards require the knowledge to route power supplies and ball grid arrays.
Collaborate with engineers and team members for a win-win working environment and end goal.
Have good communications skills and experience interfacing with other engineers, management and the end customers.
Level 3 Basic Qualifications:
2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
Experience with PADS VX.
Experience with DxDesigner Schematic Capture VX.
Experience with AutoCAD 2016.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Experience with CADSTAR/ISE or Teamcenter.
Experience with CAM350 v. 11.
Experience with Xpedition experience.
Willing to learn new tools.
Active Top Secret security clearance.
This position offers the option of a 9/80 work schedule. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work nine-hour days Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
