Our Mechanical Engineering department is seeking a CAD Librarian to join our team of talented and diverse people dedicated to support and innovate in the area of interoperability between Computer Aided Design & Engineering (CAD/CAE) and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM).

The candidate should be self-motivated and highly detailed oriented. The candidate will collaborate with electrical, components, manufacturing and other engineering disciplines in the development of CAD library parts to support the PADS and Solidworks CAD/CAE systems. The candidate should be able to follow engineering processes and procedures:

  • Capable in applying research to solving problems

  • Basic understanding of configuration management processes

  • Familiarity with engineering drawing or graphical tools

  • Ability to understand component data sheets

MSRAD

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology with 3-24 months of professional and/or intern experience

  • Basic understanding of configuration management processes

  • Familiarity with CAD and/or engineering drawing tools

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TS SCI clearance

  • Capable in applying research to solving problems

  • Ability to understand component data sheets

  • SAP, MRP, and iBuy experience

  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering design practices

  • Awareness of printed board manufacturing producibility criteria

  • Experience creating programs and scripts (VBA, Python, etc.)

  • Expedition Enterprise Tool Suite

This position offers the option of a 9/80 work schedule. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work nine-hour days Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
