Northrop Grumman Mgr Programs 2 in Charlottesville, Virginia
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Manager 2 to join our leadership team. This position will be located in Charlottesville, VA. The Program Manager will report directly to the Department Manager for the Northrop Grumman Bio Intelligence Department in the Cyber & Intelligence Mission Solutions Division.
The individual in this position will support multiple National Ground Intelligence Programs from award through closeout with success measured by achievement of cost, schedule, and delivery commitments. This individual will also be responsible for supporting capture and leading proposal efforts.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Execution of software development programs for the National Ground Intelligence Center
Contract types may include FFP, CPFF, CPAF
Development and delivery as required of presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders
Preparation of metrics and internal progress reports for management =
Development and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Government Property (GFE, CFE, etc.) tracking and management
The individual will be responsible for the management of all phases of programs from inception through completion and including the cost, schedule and technical performance of small programs or a subset of activities on larger programs.
The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing staffing plans for programs, achieving performance milestones, monitoring and maintaining master schedules, leading the resolution of program problems Additionally, the selected candidate will support proposals preparation, contract negotiation, and contract changes.
Will be the primary program interface to contracts, supply chain, subcontracts and procurement.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6+ years of experience (4+ years with a Master's degree) in Program Management and Engineering
4+ years of experience as a team lead and/or management of people
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Demonstrated success in managing projects to cost, performance, and schedule requirements
Ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external customers
Demonstrated success in leading and developing cross functional teams
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop successful relationships
Top Secret Clearance with SCI required
Master's Degree in a Business or Technical field
Prior experience supporting the National Ground Intelligence Center
