The M issile Defense Solutions (MDS) Business Unit (BU) is looking for a Systems or Software Engineer at our Chandler, AZ location to realize the following objectives:
Support the development of Models and Simulations of CounterHypersonic Architectures, Command and Control, Weapon Systems and Sensors (IR and RF)
Support the development and analysis of emerging CounterHypersonic defensive architectures and intercept systems
Coordinate with key NGSP Sector personnel at the Chandler, AZ location
Support the CHS Campaign and Business Development Activities
Staff Level: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 14 years of relevant experience (12 years with Masters, 9 years with PhD)
Sr. Principal Level: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 9 years of relevant experience (7 years with Masters, 4 years with PhD)
Experience in creating models and executing simulations
Experience in analysis techniques (using MATLAB or Python)
Domain knowledge and experience in Missile Defense
Proven ability to mentor junior team members
Proven ability to work both in a team setting and independently to meet technical requirements and aggressive schedules
Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
Domain knowledge in Hypersonics and CounterHypersonics weapon systems
Experience using AFSIM
Experience creating AFSIM plugins
Software Development in C++ Experience with AI/ML techniques
Active TS/SCI clearance
