NG is seeking an experienced leader for our Guidance, Navigation and Control team. The GNC manager acts as a personnel and technical lead for the team. This role requires managerial skills as well as hands-on technical expertise. The manager position is responsible for appropriate staffing, staff management, performance, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

JOB ROLL AND RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW
Guidance, Navigation & Control Manager for 20+ matrixed engineers supporting multiple Programs. Provide technical leadership and resource management to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting launch vehicle design and verification. Help resolve complex technical issues related to launch vehicle GNC design including failure analysis and corrective action. Prepare periodic technical reports and presentations for senior management to document status and go-forward plans. Additional responsibilities include management of department metrics and maintenance of department processes, standards, and command media.

BS Degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering plus 10 years of guidance, navigation and control experience is required .
5 years of leading or managing others is required
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Ability to travel is required.
- Masters of Science in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering is preferred
