Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for Quality Systems Assistant 2 to support our Propulsion Systems operations at our Promontory, UT facilities.

Job Duties:

  • Reviews completed shop orders for correctness

  • Prepares sell off packages to present to customers

  • Researches and problem solves issues with sell of packages

  • Examine data and make recommendations based on policy

  • Answers customer inquiries regarding sell off packages

  • Prepare data and conduct Hardware Acceptance Reviews

  • Communicates issues with inspection, manufacturing, engineering to obtain corrections

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • More than six years manufacturing experience, aerospace preferred

  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) & Adobe Acrobat

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, adhere to written procedures, and experience with AS9100 requirements, standards, and compliance issues

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Initiative, self starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence

  • Ability to work under limited supervision

  • Work with individuals at all levels including management, peers, and outside customers

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds

  • Ability to sit/stand for up to 9 hours each day - 9/80 schedule

  • Frequent typing, repetitive wrist motion, up to 8 hours each day

  • Ability to work Overtime and Weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will also have a basic understanding of PES (lean) and Continuous Improvement
