Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
We are currently seeking a Desktop Technician for our Bacchus, UT location.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist in the implementation of required government policies (NIST, DoD, etc)
Provide PC and Security support for isolated/enclave computer environments by gathering and organizing data, updating software, ensuring compliance to policy, etc.
Work closely with building and process owners at our Promontory, UT and Bacchus, UT campuses to ensure isolated computer equipment meets compliance regulations.
Supporting computers that are isolated, and standalone pc equipment get updated to current security standards and policies.
Create, Maintain and update IT-related documentation. (e.g. installation notes, process documentation, etc.).
Work with the team to automate, and improve processes wherever possible.
Clearly communicate IT processes/procedures to employees
Be self-motivated, proactive, and dependable
Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an independent performer.
Must be able to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, set-up and customize applications and perform network troubleshooting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Lift 50 lbs
Work and act in a safe manner
Work well under pressure and to meet deadlines as needed
Requires attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions
High level understanding/familiarity of NIST 800 controls, and DFARS requirements.
Experience working in isolated computer environments.
