Northrop Grumman Aircraft Quality Analyst 2/3 (Bridgewater, VA) in Bridgewater, Virginia

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Quality Analyst inBridgewater, Virginiaon our SEMA program.

The Quality Analyst will develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Will oversee the quality and safety aspects of aircraft and mission system maintenance, repair, modification, and logistics atCONUS locations. Ensures compliance with programs, policies, processes, procedures in accordance with the requirements of AS9100 / 9110 and DCMA INST 8210.1 and OSHA, Safety,and EPA regulations through audit and observation. Provide support in continuous improvement of procedures. Act as primary point of contact with customer quality personnel to address observations and issues. Coordinate with Supplier Quality Assurance to maintain material and services to established Northrop Grumman and contract quality requirements. Monitors and maintains site specific quality metrics. Focal for corrective, preventive and continuous improvement actions. Oversee compliance with relevant Safety, EPA and Northrop Grumman processes and procedures as applicable to location. Candidate will possibly be required to support activities in Fort Belvoir and Manassas locations.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level2 or a level 3. Basic Qualificationsfor aQuality Analyst 2are Bachelors Degree with 3 years experience or 7 years experience in lieu of degree. Basic Qualifications for aQuality Analyst3 are 6 years with a Bachelors Degree or 10 years experience in lieu of degree.

ActiveInterim Secret Security Clearance or higher

US Citizenship required

Prior SEMA experience on Breechcraft King Air C12 and Havilland Dash 7 & 8 platforms

Travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

Quality Assurance experience with US Army or DCMA

FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate

AS9100 / 9110 Lead Auditor training

Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
