The Next Generation GEO program has an opportunity in the Boulder/Broomfield, Colorado area as a Sr Principal Program Office on-site representative (Level 4) of NGSP-Azusa, resident at subcontractor facility. The Next Generation GEO (NGG) program and will be responsible for providing the Infrared sensor which includes the telescope, focal plane, pointing system, optical bench assembly and other components consisting of the sensor subassembly for this program. This is a full-time position in the Boulder/Broomfield area.
This positions is to be the Northrop Grumman on-site program management representative which will support the Northrop Grumman technical representative and assist with interface back to the Azusa NGG Program Management Office. The selected individual should be cognizant of the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission and have experience in supporting this mission area. Experience with sensor performance is a plus.
This project manager will have programmatic leadership responsibilities as well as serve as the main point of contact back to the Azusa Next Generation Program Management Office. This position includes the following primary responsibilities:
1) Supporting PMO in management of major sub-contractor
2) Supporting PMO in management of Cost and Schedule performance of sub-contract
a. Leading Return to Green plans and corrective actions
b. Working with Global Supply Chain organization to manage sub-contract
c. Primary interface to sub-contract
3) Support interactions, messaging and coordination between prime & subcontractor
· Bachelor's Degree & 10 years of technical project management experience, OR a Master's Degree & 8 years of technical project management experience
· 5 or more years of relevant experience in EO/IR sensor systems
· Current & active DoD secret clearance or higher
· Master's Degree in a STEM field
· 10+ years of relevant experience in EO/IR sensor systems
Salary Minimum: $103,664
Salary Maximum: $155,496
