Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Program Control Analyst 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in Boulder, Colorado.

Key Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.

  • Performing analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated values.

  • Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

  • Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

  • Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the customer.

  • Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Level 2 Experience: 2 Years with a Bachelor’s degree; 0 Years with a Master’s degree. 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Level 3 Experience: 5 Years with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 Years with a Master’s degree; 1 Year with a PhD. 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet critical milestones.

  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related.

  • Prior related experience with financial analysis and Earned Value Management customer reporting

  • Cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis.

  • Experience with SAP ERP, Cognos reporting, ProPricer, and/or PowerBI.

  • Advanced Excel Techniques (i.e. v/h lookups, pivot tables, VBA/Macros)

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and analyze data

  • Prior related experience with financial analysis and Earned Value Management customer reporting

  • Experience preparing and presenting complex financial analysis to leadership

  • Experience with GAAP, as well as Government Financial accounting practices

  • Prior program cost control experience

  • Secret level security clearance or higher

  • Experience with Cobra and SAP

  • Familiarity with FAR/DFAR

Salary Range: $73,900 - $110,900

Salary Range 2: $91,200 - $136,800

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
