Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking talented security professionals who will be involved in the day-to-day oversight and support of all security aspects of active programs. This position is located in Boulder, CO.

The CSSO/CPSO candidate who develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. he successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and administering DoD policies and procedures in compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual 5205.07 V1-4, and NISPOM and will be expected to interface with the customer security organization.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: supporting a fast-paced program; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. The selected candidate will work with and support a team of other security professionals and manage PERSEC requirements with meticulous record keeping; responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases. Experience in program security and personnel security with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, physical security, OPSEC, security education etc.). Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts new employee security briefings, annual security refresher briefings, security training, debriefings, investigating and reporting security violations and incident reports. Monitors security procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the security program including PERSEC, Physical and administrative procedures. Requires the ability to make sound decisions while staying within compliance of Customer and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures. Must be able to respond to after hour alarms. Manage time effectively and be able to take independent action following projects through to completion. Take initiative to improve processes, as well as provide solutions once an issue has been identified. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences at all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications. Have strong customer service mindset. Must be dependable, responsive, customer focused and possess the qualities of diplomacy, tact, excellent judgment, discretion and initiative. Must have the ability to be flexible, adjusting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Salary Minimum: $83,600

Salary Maximum: $125,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 years of security experience with Bachelors degree or 4 years of security experience with Masters degree (an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree).

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Familiarity with the following: ICD 705, ICD 704, ICD 503, DoD Manuals 5205.06 V1-4 and the NISPOM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph

  • Bachelors Degree.

  • Comprehenisive knowledge and abilityt to implement requirements of the following references: ICD 705, ICD 704, ICD 503, DoD Manuals 5205.06 V1-4 and the NISPOM

  • Have extensive experience with COMSEC
