Northrop Grumman is currently looking for a Configuration/Data Management Administrator to work in our Dayton, OH facility

Job description:

  • Track and coordinate the issuance of manufacturing work instructions, inspection plans, drawings, and machine code.

  • Coordinate the review and approval of documentation with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Safety departments.

  • Identify, control, account for, and verify project information.

  • Maintain the project library by controlling access to sensitive information and ensuring latest revisions are uploaded to the system in a timely manner.

  • Establish and maintain project document lists and document trees.

  • Participate, as required, in project configuration control board activities.

  • Review completed manufacturing work instructions for accuracy and customer compliance.

  • Manage manufacturing documents to record retention policies and procedures.

  • Create design and document control business items and, following department standard work, release in Northrop Grumman product data management system (ePIC).

  • Access Customer portal/FTP sites to upload files as required

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Enjoys work that requires attention to detail

  • Strong word processing skills

  • Strong organization skills and ability to work with minimal direction

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience using documentation data bases

  • Prior experience with a Product Data Management (PDM) system desired

  • Prior experience with manufacturing work instructions desired

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with an organization at all levels

  • Type at greater than 30 words per minute

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Effective in persuasive written and verbal communication

  • Document management

  • Technical writing
