Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Senior Test Conductor/Mission Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Beale AFB, CA.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide subject matter expertise for mission planning, including but not limited to mission planning software, operational checklists, troubleshooting procedures, and training courseware development.

  • Serve as a professional trainer in all aspects of mission planning

  • Support test planning and real world operations with emphasis on mission planning

  • Provide regular briefings to senior leadership

  • Interface with system design and analysis functions to influence mission planning software improvements

  • Assist in the development and management of operational tactical guides, documents, and publications.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in both training and operations environments. Candidate should possess a technical acumen that enables her/him to collaborate closely with aircrew, system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience working with various mission planning software systems or a Master's degree with 7 years of experience working with various mission planning software systems.

  • An active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance

  • The ability to obtain SAP/SAR access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline

  • Active, In-scope DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
