Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Pilot to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Beale AFB, CA.
Delivering formal training unit instruction for manned/unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to include, but not limited to formal student training, airmanship, aircraft systems & performance and development & execution of operational training guides.
Define, plan, organize and execute complex flight programs and flight events.
Conduct briefing and debriefing, and coordinate with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct vehicle discrepancies.
May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials or other personnel to exhibit vehicle performance, flying qualities and system capabilities.
Must have a Secret Clearance prior to start and ability to obtain and maintain program.
Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of aviation experience.
Must be FAA instrument rated pilot (or military equivalent) with the ability to obtain a Class II FAA Physical or better.
Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience as Pilot in Command and able to maintain pilot currency.
Must have a current and active Top Secret Clearance with a completed background investigation within the past 5 years.
Ability to obtain and maintain SAP/SAR program access.
UAV flight experience and/or Military flight experience
Flight test operations experience
