Northrop Grumman Senior Engineering Mechanical Technical Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Engineering Mechanical Technical Specialist to join its Manufacturing organization. This position is located in Linthicum, Maryland.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Develop, construct, plan, coordinate, and test mechanically, highly complex electro-mechanical models and/or systems. Analyze and modify drawings on structural information working from general rough outlines and written or oral instructions. Design fixtures and tools as required. Assist engineering personnel in resolving complex problems associated with the fabrication and assembly of systems.

This is a SEA Union represented position.

This is a 1st shift position.

MSBALTECM

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent, with a working knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, drafting and physics and two years of college in engineering subjects or demonstrated equivalent experience.

  • Eight years experience inthe development of highly complex and state of the art electro-mechanical models and/or systems withdemonstrated working knowledge of assembly and wiring, fabrication and machining.
