Northrop Grumman Mgr Programs 2 in Baltimore, Maryland
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Managers Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD.
This position is in support of the Advanced Missions business unit within the Engineering, Sciences, and Technology division. The primary responsibility will be the capture and execution of programs developing the next generation of multifunction RF sensor systems.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company IRAD programs or subsystems of major DoD programs.
Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Lead technical teams in creating innovative solutions to next generation system challenges related to emerging threats
Lead proposals and capture teams for next generation systems from R&D organizations such as DARPA, ONR, and AFRL. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in a technical work environment
Minimum of5 years leadership experience
Experience with RF sensor systems, such as radar, electronic warfare, or communications systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively work within a team environment
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
Direct experience on advanced system development programs and/or advanced electronics programs related to RF sensor systems
Engineering Management, IPT, Manufacturing experience
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
