iReturn provides experienced professionals with a 12-week "returnship" to prepare for a full-time career in one of several fields at Northrop Grumman through training, professional development and networking opportunities. Our "returnship" program focuses on giving you a seamless transition back into the workforce and will run from September - November providing candidates with the essential skills and tools for an effective re-entry into the workforce. Upon completion of the program, candidates will be eligible for full-time roles with the company.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a RFMicrowave and Hardware Subsystem Design Engineer for participation in theiReturn Program
RF Microwave and Hardware Subsystem Design Engineers specialize in the Design, Analysis, Integration and control of radiating apertures, phased array antenna systems and RF microwave subsystems that support radar, communication and electronic warfare applications.
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in Production or Quality Assurance. Must possess professional experience with a career break of at least two years.
Bachelor'sDegree inElectrical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline requiredwith a minimum of 5 years of experience
Priorprofessional work experience as a Design Engineer in the RF Microwave and/orSubsystems discipline or within a related technical area.
Priorexperience in 1 or more of the following technical areas: Antennas,Electromagnetics, Computational Electromagnetics, RF/Microwave design, Digitalbeam-forming, Hardware/ Subsystem Integration and Test, and Antenna ControlDesign
CareerBreak of a minimum of 2 years required.
Abilityto Obtain a D.O.D issued clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required. An Activeclearance is not requiredprior to starting in this role.
