Northrop Grumman Mission Systemsis seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer 2 for integration and field support of AESA Radar products (Active Electronically Scanned Array). This position will be based out of our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, Maryland. Final destination is a long term assignment at a customer facility in Madison, WI or another CONUS or OCONUS site.
The Radar Integration and Field Support Engineer will become part of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' Field Engineering organization, working in a rewarding environment and interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines, functional management, and program leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide Field Engineering support at the customer site working as a member of their team
System integration and test of Prime Mission AESA radar system and test equipment utilized for development/sustainment activities
Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the radar
Lead field integration and customer support efforts at customer locations
The chosen candidate must be an effective communicator; possess good organizational skills to manage frequent intra-organizational and customer interaction; and be able to work effectively in a team environment and individually with minimal guidance.
BS in Electrical Engineering or another related STEM disciplineand2 years of relevant experience, 0 years with a Masters Degree
Some experience in troubleshooting, integrating, or testing electronics
Some experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, etc.)
Willingness to work in Madison Wisconsin long term OR travel 25%, including OCONUS (including high threat areas)
Active DoD Secret clearance or higherand ability to obtain and maintain a SAP clearance
