Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is hiring multipleElectronic Warfare Systems Engineersto support their growing team in Baltimore, MD or Bethpage, NY. The candidate(s) will be a members of the Multi-Function Systems Engineering team responsible for highly adaptive, software defined, hardware enabled systems which support multiple missions and domains including Radar, EW, SIGINT, EO/IR, COMMs, and IFF among others.Candidates need to be self-motivated, systems thinkers thatthrive ina multi-tasking environment and can work as part of a teamto create program wins and help shape the future of electronic warfare and multi-functionsensor systems at Northrop Grumman.

Typical Electronic Warfare Systems Engineers work on multiple tasks including but not limited to:

  • Systems Documentation

  • Algorithm Development

  • In depth data Analysis

  • Requirements generation

  • Supporting Firmware, Integration and Test and Software teams

  • Developing as a mentee to Multi-Function Systems subject matter experts and technical leads

MSBALTECM

Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer 3 are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 Years of relevant experience; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD

  • Experience with one or more of the below topics: - Electronic Warfare, Radar, COMMSor SIGINT experience - Embedded systems - Algorithm development - Matlab

  • Must have an activeInterim Secret clearance or higher

Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer 4 are:

  • 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.

  • Experience with one or more of the below topics: - Electronic Warfare, Radar, COMMSor SIGINT experience - Embedded systems - Algorithm development - Matlab

  • Must have an activeInterim Secret clearance or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP) - modeling and algorithm development

  • Digital and VHDL firmware design

  • Previous Analyst Experience

  • Strong Mathematical skills

  • RADAR experience

  • Passive Detection Systems experience

  • SCI Clearance
