Northrop Grumman Dir Business Development 1 (Multiple Locations) in Baltimore, Maryland
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Director, Business Development to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD.
Reporting to the Land & Avionics C4ISR Division Senior Director, Strategy & Business Development, working within the Advanced Ground Sensors business unit to lead the team that identifies, develops and acquires Advanced Ground Sensor program opportunities. Programs of interest include both new starts and upgrades/modifications on existing programs. Individual selected will be the primary point of contact to customer organizations and influencers for the Advanced Ground Sensor new business. The individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for capturing and effectively marketing the AGS business unit's products and capabilities to meet customer needs thereby translating business opportunities into contact plans, strategic win themes, supporting capture teams and wins. This position will also include expansion into the international AGS market space. Individual will lead a team of business developers and other team members including all required functions in the Northrop Grumman Corporation, primes, teammates and subcontractors to develop and implement win strategies, compliant with Northrop Grumman's business acquisition process (BAP) and International Business acquisition process (iBAP).
Bachelors of Science degree.
An understanding of DoD and Service-specific requirements, acquisition processes, organizations, and people is essential.
International (FMS/DCS) experience in business development or ground radar system deployment.
A minimum of 10 years demonstrated direct or related experience in ground based radars or radar technology is required.
Candidate should have proven experience in the establishment of new customer relationships with the objective of identifying customer needs andtechnology roadmaps to establishnew opportunities for market/business expansion.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to lead and support a team of experienced Business Development professionals.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Masters of Science Degree.
Current DOD Secret or TS clearance
Experience in requirements development, program management, and acquisition is desired.
Detailed knowledge of the Marine Corps and Army organizations, requirements, and procedures.
An understanding of the DoD JCIDS/JROC process and PPBES.
A detailed understanding of and experience with the DoD FMS process.
A detailed understanding of and experience with the DoD export policy process and associated DoD organizations
