We are seeking a Contracts Administrator/Principal Contracts Administrator to support the Restricted and Emerging Restricted Operating Unit (OU) under the growing Advance Missions Capabilities (AMC) Business Unit (BU)! Responsibilities include the following:
Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Work under general supervision to develop solutions to contractual matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.
Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers.
Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables, proposals, and data calls.
Basic Qualifications:
Contracts Administrator - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 1 year directly related experience. Candidates with 7+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree will be given consideration.
Principal Contracts Administrator - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years directly related experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years directly related experience. Will consider 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe.
Must be a team player but also have the ability to work independently.
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
Must have an active Secret security clearance with most recent periodic investigation having been completed in the last 5 years.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to efficiently and effectively research FAR/DFARS information. Ability to understand regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts.
Ability to solve a variety of problems by referring to policies and procedures as necessary.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Experience with USG and Prime customers and different contract types.
Experience working restricted programs.
Salary Range: $67,000 - $104,000
Salary Range 2: $82,400 - $123,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
