Northrop Grumman is looking for a COMSEC Custodian who will assist in the management of all procurement, fielding, and sustainment of Crypto/Keying material and devices. This individual will assist in the tracking, control and inventory requirements of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and company owned equipment. This position is located a BWI with occasional travel to other Northrop Grumman facilities. The COMSEC responsibilities will include: ensuring maximum COMSEC safeguards are in place, managing proper accountability, handling, storage, packaging, shipment, and administration of all cryptographic materials. The COMSEC Account Manager will perform installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment, as required, hands on experience of setting IP addresses, routes, rules and templates in CCI Devices and software upgrades, system equipment certifications. Other duties will involve the ordering and transfer of cryptographic keys, loading keying material to KGs, KIVs, OMNI's, SECTERA Wireline Terminals, Vipers, and numerous GPS units. The COMSEC Account Manager will interface with the help desk, and communicate with vendors. The COMSEC Account Manager will assist in the ongoing development, presentation and accurate record keeping of COMSEC security awareness training for all COMSEC users.
Basic Qualifications for a level 3 :
5 years COMSEC or related experience with Bachelors; or 3 years with a Masters; An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Current Active Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Basic Understanding of the NISPOM, Familiarity with JADE and/or SIMS. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Current or prior COMSEC Custodian.
Salary Range: $90,600 - $136,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
