Responsibilities include detailed Mission Modeling & Simulation (M&S) performance analysis, M&S analysis tool development, mission scenario generation & verification, and customer out-brief in supporting Missile Warning (MW)/ Defense programs. Candidate should understand mission modeling simulation concept, implementation, sensor performance, and calibration to become the focal point for program mission M&S in a few years. Candidate will interface with senior System Engineers working sensor performance, and state-of-health performance analysis on the MW payloads. Professional presentation skills, programming experience, and mission/image processing experience are required. C(++) or Satellite Tool Kit experience is desirable. Candidates with performance analysis experience, or previous SBIRS exposure would be preferred, but not required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's ina STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

  • 5years of work experiencein system development and/or analysis

  • Knowledge and understanding of MissionModeling & Simulation

  • Strong analytical and programming skills(e.g. MATLABor Python preferred)

  • Ability to obtainand maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and methods

  • SBIRS program or similar space programrelated knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience in Modeling & Simulation

  • Knowledge of C++ and/or Perl

  • Top Secret security clearance
