Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking an Electrical Engineer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Azusa, CA.

The successful applicant will be assigned to perform hardware design and analysis of circuit card assemblies required for multiple Military and Civil space programs. The position requires coordination with multi-discipline functions to ensure that the product meets requirements. Specific assignments may include deriving CCA design requirements from system requirements; performing CCA/PCB design of analog, power, and digital circuit combinations including FPGAs; schematic capture; printed circuit board layout; circuit card assembly part selection; signal integrity and power integrity analysis; trade studies; and troubleshooting to support anomaly resolution during system integration and test.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

  • 9 years of technical experience with a minimum of 3 years of CCA/PCB design experience

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition/VX or Altium Designer

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, Expedition/VX, and Hyperlinx tools

  • Proficiency with Altium Designer

  • 5 years printed circuit board layout or analysis experience

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
