Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your role:
You will be actively involved in the development, design and execution of verification activities to successfully introduce the Triton System including the ground support elements. This will include the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into comprehensive test plans, procedures, schedules and subsequent activities. You will be working in an above-the-line role, actively participate in developing, designing, and executing verification activities for the Triton System, encompassing ground support elements. This involves translating customer contractual needs into detailed test plans, procedures, schedules, and related tasks. As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert representing the Commonwealth, your experience working with Defence customers will highlight your adeptness in effectively communicating with The Commonwealth and other important stakeholders, always prioritising a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
About You:
You will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or ICT discipline, Chartered Engineer status or eligibility for registration, demonstrated knowledge of Requirements Management, including tools like DOORS, as well a solid understanding of Validation and Verification of complex systems, encompassing verification strategy, campaign execution, and compliance analysis.
Additionally, you will have had significant experience developing and conducting test programs on complex projects (aerospace/communications) and have sound knowledge of ASDEFCON processes and airworthiness standards. Lastly, you need to hold an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1).
