The SBIRS team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Principal Ground Systems Analyst based out of Aurora, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
This position is for a Ground Systems Tester on the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Program Ground Segment
The ideal candidate will have had practical experience in SBIRS operations as a combat mission ready crew member, instructor and/or evaluator, resource scheduler; problem solving techniques, engineering, and system optimization methods.
Analysis of technical change and content of software package, creation/update of System Engineering products (requirements, concepts of operations, interface control documents, system architecture, performance analyses, operational/test instructions).
Development of test plans and methodologies, procedures, and the
execution of tests in combined operational/test environments.
Day-in-the-Life activities, system test support activities,
training product development and instructional support.
Analyzes and validates software performance, understanding
and experience in specifying, collecting, processing and presenting information from potentially several disparate data sets.
Generates actionable knowledge from data.
Possesses analytical and problem solving skills necessary for quickly
developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of sources.
Ability to identify patterns and higher level information from all the data sources through use of tools and application programming.
Understands the general problem space and is confident in explaining the different insights generated from the data.

You'll bring these qualifications:
10 years with Bachelors; 8 year with Masters; 14 years related experience in lieu of degree
Knowledge of satellite ground systems and familiarity with LINUX and Unix
Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
Ability to interact effectively with customers and management
Ability to work with little or no supervision and learn new systems quickly
Current TS/SCI clearance
Willing and able to travel between Aurora, Boulder, and Colorado Springs
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Experience as a Systems Tester (or related discipline) for large government programs
Knowledge of System Engineering and Test development and execution processes
Knowledge of the customer expectations and operational requirements
Strong interpersonal/leadership skills and experience
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
