Seeking an experienced cleared System Administrator to join the Broadside program.
Essential Functions:
The Broadside Network Management Service (NMS) team requires individuals with MS Windows Domain Server Systems Administration experience who can work in a structured, configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications. Qualified candidates will be responsible for evaluating operational software problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service. Responsibilities also include the integration and verification of new baselines. Qualified candidates must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
Principal duties include, but are not limited to:
Support, maintenance and documentation of NMS software applications
Network Node Manager, HP Openview, HP Server Automation, others.
Support onboarding of equipment into the NMS monitoring tools
Troubleshoot configurations impacting the NMS monitoring and reporting capabilities
Administration of all aspects Windows Domain Services
This position may be filled at a Principal or Sr Principal level based on the qualifications listed below.
Level 3 Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline plus 6 years of engineering/technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline plus 4 years of engineering/technical experience
Experience in Windows Domain Servers administration
Experience with LINUX/UNIX operating systems
Active DoD TS/SCI plus a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination.
Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent 8570 certification
Level 4 Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline plus 12 years of engineering/technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline plus 10 years of engineering/technical experience
Experience in Windows Domain Servers administration
Experience with VMS and/ or LINUX/UNIX operating systems
Active DoD TS/SCI plus a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination.
Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent 8570 certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability in PERL or other scripting languages
Experience with C++, Java, or Python programming languages
Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
Strong self-initiative and ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex issues and possess ability to multi-task
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with software, hardware, and systems test engineers, system administrators, and program/functional management.
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Git, Subversion, Confluence, etc.
Prior full lifecycle software development experience
Salary Range: $99,800 - $149,800
Salary Range 2: $123,800 - $185,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
