Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for an Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of diverse and talented individuals at our Aurora, CO location.

**The primary responsibilities for this position will focus on the Physical and security administration roles and responsibilities and requirements based on ICD 705 and other physical security govt regulations as required supporting the PGS division and INS business unit with the Space Systems sector and other duties as assigned. This position will reside in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities include:

  • Be able to learn and assist in providing advice, guidance and assistance on security related construction matters involving ICD-705, NISPOM and DOD 5205.07, Volume #3.

  • Be able to assist the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide advice, guidance, and assistance to identify requirements associated with the design, acquisition, installation, and testing of physical security solutions.

  • Will help aid in providing physical security inspections of classified spaces and support the construction of new SCIF(s)/SAP/Compartmented areas. Assist in completing Fixed Facility Checklists.

  • Help provides security guidance for all requests for the placement of communications equipment within classified spaces.

  • Supports building/area alarm systems and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Coordinates the work orders with the SME as well as the Install and replacement of CCTV cameras, camera related equipment and cables.

  • Collaborate with internal NG Clients to understand their security needs and expectations.

  • Assist with developing physical and technical security Scope of Work Documents and CONOP alongside security management.

  • Participate in security project meetings.

  • Participate in UL testing, maintaining documentation and updating Fixed Facility Checklists.

  • Out-processing (screening & approving non-program items and documents prior to removal from the SCIF).

  • SIMs reports (running or providing SIM reports) and aid to program security.

  • Will act as the COMSEC (Communication Security) Alternate Support to campus.

  • INDOC all personnel on campus (does not include special briefings that are program-specific).

  • Support CPSOs in ensuring Security Training on physical security are accomplished for program personnel (as requested).

  • Writing/Implementing SOPs and Continuity Plans for Campus Security support that pertains to their security duties.

  • Visitor/Access Control (incoming and outgoing visit requests) in multiple customer systems.

  • Document Control.

  • Administrative duties and filing (emails, answering phones, etc.).

  • Certified Badge personnel and responsible for programming badges for common areas/Lenel Badge management.

  • Inbound and Destruction of classified and unclassified media on campus.

  • Responsible for Secure Message Handling ("SOCOMM" for TDY/PCS).

  • Security Facility Accountability (i.e., keys, locks only related to security, VPN tokens, destruct of badges).

  • Colleting Badging Reports or burning CD's/DVDs off camera system.

  • Shipping/Receiving Classified Material (Courier).

  • Citizenship Verification filing of PW.

  • Alarm Panel custodian.

  • SCIF combination owner.

  • Works with local NG Physical Security Lead on any SCIF accreditations or TEMPEST items needed on campus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience in security. In lieu of a degree, seven years of relevant experience in security.

  • Experience with any of the following: Government manuals (ICD, JAFAN, NISPOM, etc.) including ICD 705 requirements.

  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to use basic websites and SharePoint interfaces.

  • Active and current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility OR current, active SCI access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active SCI access.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to manage and support multiple facilities/physical security projects and schedules in a timely manner and meet project deadlines.

  • Self-starter with ability to become a SME with minimal supervision.

  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills.

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
