The Aurora team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Configuration Analyst based out of Aurora, Co.

What You'll get to Do:

As a Configuration Analyst you will have a working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) in a classified environment. Applicant will perform the CM disciplines in the area of identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. They will design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve CM software tools. Develop software configuration standards and policies for program and company wide use. Train software developers in the use of CM tools and the implementation of software quality standards. They will perform configuration control board tasks; collect and report CM metrics; develop deployment tools to support deployment of SW baselines to remote locations while limiting down time of a cloud like architecture. The hired individual will maintain the Software CM system including the collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, and software build documentation. Additionally they will participate in the pre-ship audit and reviews to ensure the delivered configuration items are built in accordance with as-built documentation, and support hardware auditing and decommissioning.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

This is a dual level req and can be filled at either level

Level 2

  • Bachelors or 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree plus 3 years of experience or Master's Degree with 1 year of experience

  • Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willing to submit to a Counter Intelligence polygraph.

  • Experience working in a SW development environment supporting multiple development teams

  • Working knowledge of Software and Hardware Configuration Management (CM)

  • Working knowledge of Document Management (DM)

  • Working knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to interact well with peers, management and customers

Level 3

  • Bachelors or 4 years of related work experience in lieu of degree plus 6 years of experience or Master's Degree with 4 year of experience

  • Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and willing to submit to a Counter Intelligence polygraph.

  • Experience working in a SW development environment supporting multiple development teams

  • Working knowledge of Software and Hardware Configuration Management (CM)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with the Intelligence Community

  • Experience with software licensing status reporting and renewal activities

  • Knowledge on maintaining and updating a CM library

  • Knowledge of the processes and procedures for supporting Engineering Review Boards

  • Demonstrated experience in CM Processes to include configuration management identification, control, audit and status

  • Experience with CM policy procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards

  • Knowledge of SW version documentation to include dealing with multiple development and maintenance baselines

  • Hardware CM experience are also desirable.
