Northrop Grumman Associate Business Management Analyst in Aurora, Colorado
Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NG Space) is looking for an Associate Supplier Price/Cost Analyst (SPCA) to support the Payload and Ground Systems Division. The successful applicant will join a geographically diverse team of SPCAs within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. The position is located in Redondo Beach, CA, Baltimore, MD, or Aurora, CO.
A SPCA is responsible for the completion of all required subcontractor and material price and cost analyses, supporting both proposal activities and subcontract negotiations in execution, in compliance with FAR and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures. This position will work closely on a day-to-day basis with Pricing and Estimating, Global Supply Chain Management, Program Management Office, technical evaluators, DCMA, and proposal customers.
SPCA responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Review and evaluating, comprehensively, all elements of cost (e.g., direct labor, material, ODC, indirect costs, and profit) and all other factors that affect price in compliance with regulatory requirements and NG Space policies and procedures
Applying judgement to determine how well the proposed costs represent what the cost of the contract should be, assuming reasonable economy and efficiency
Conducting fact-finding of complex subcontractor proposals, develop fair and reasonable cost/price positions, and author detailed cost analysis reports
Developing negotiation ranges and support GSC major subcontract negotiations
Requesting and obtaining DCAA Assist Audits, where applicable
Supporting Government Audits of TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act) compliant proposals, interfacing with NG Space management and US Government auditors
Researching and analyzing historical data
Participating in peer reviews
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related area
Self-Motivated, eager to learn, and able to work in a deadline driven environment
Team player but also able to work independently
Proactive and possesses excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Active TS/SCI clearance
Knowledge of TINA, cost accounting practices, and FAR/DFARS, especially Part 15 and 31
