Northrop Grumman Information Systems Sector is seeking a Front-end Web Software Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in transforming the future of technology and public health. This position will be located in Atlanta, GA and will become part of Northrop Grumman's team that supports the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention. The qualified candidate will provide website development of User Interfaces for high traffic, high availability websites, social media channels, and other electronic communications mediums.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop user interfaces and provides mentorship to other developers based on an advanced skill level in website programming using JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, JSON, XML, CSS, and other Web 2.0 Standards.

Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and staff to update content on websites, social media channels, and other electronic communication mediums.

Develop user interface prototypes and specifications to create customized web products that are easy-to-understand, user-friendly, and accessible and tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences such as the general public, health professionals, and news media.

Provide recommendations that reflect clear knowledge and application of current website design and development subject matter.

Troubleshoot and provide support for web developers across the agency on HTML5, CSS3, ad JavaScript.

Maintain a high level of customer service that is prompt, responsive, courteous, and comprehensive.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, media or related field with a minimum of 9 years of experience.

5 years of experience in website development and maintenance.

3 year of experience designing and programming with JavaScript, XML, HTML5, and CSS3 that may be utilized as developmental tools and development platforms.

Works effectively in an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, and trust, along with the ability to work independently

Manages complex responsibilities well in a demanding and fast paced work environment and adapts well to quickly changing priorities

Experience providing recommendations that reflect clear knowledge and application of website development subject matter

Responds well to changing events and competing priorities when unanticipated events occur

Able to work demanding and flexible work schedules when the team is activated for emergency responses

Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

Master's degree in computer science, information systems management, digital media or related field with a minimum of7 years of experience.
