Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a System Deployment Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Deployment Manager must be able to manage the activities associated with software installation and system validation needed to support the deployment of new mission systems. This individual will work closely with the Gov't Deployment lead and will produce and manage the schedule of activities necessary to deploy the system from lab acceptance, through network and applications mission installation/configuration and DTE II testing. They will schedule software teams in completing the system buildup and manage the final system deployment to its destination and final activation activities. They will work with other teams with functional design hand-off responsibility of the accepted mission system. This person will work closely with mission owners in the software upgrades to enhance system performance. The Mission-Focused Candidate must be self-motivated, results-oriented and an effective communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
14+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include experience in system architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation, and process execution and evaluation
5+ years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence capability
Must have strong understanding of schedules and maintaining customer requirements
Must be results-oriented, self-motivated and an effective communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills
Strong organizational skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meets the experience requirements; or equivalent documented combination of training and experience. (6 years over the required years in the labor category can substitute for the BS).
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
