Northrop Grumman Project Management -Principal /Senior Principal in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Northrop Grumman has an exciting opportunity for a Resource Staffing Manager in Annapolis Junction.

The Resource Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the Operating Unit staffing activities. Position serves as a liaison between the program's Program Management Office (PMO), the program's line management, Talent Acquisition, the Engineering & Sciences (E&S) organization, and subcontractor companies. The Resource Manager organizes, directs, and coordinates the processes that results in making program hires that perform well on the program and deliver customer satisfaction. Excellent written and verbal communications as well as time management skills are a

must.

  • Responsible for supporting the activities associated with executing, planning, scheduling, communications, satisfying deliverables, technical performance and security compliance of project activities

  • Interacts with the Program Manager and Technical Task teams to update and understand requirements, timelines and resource availability

  • Provides status and monthly reports regarding the tracking and presentation of project deliverables; performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment

  • Updates staffing plans and forecasts staffing capacity levels according to project progress, change requests, or other delaying conditions

  • Facilitates weekly internal/external stakeholder meetings to engage all parties involved in the staffing process and other significant matters that require coordination amongst multiple contracts; also represents the organization as a primary touch point for programs

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for Principal Level:

  • 6 Years with Bacherlors; 4 Years with Masters degree in any technical or business field or equivalent documented combination of training and experience; four additional years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree

  • Minimum six years' experience on large scale programs of over $5M a year in coordinating program related activities including requirements, resources, personnel, funding, and scheduling activities.

  • Experience supporting program activities using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • The ability to obtain a clearance is required.

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Level:

  • 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters degree in any technical or business field or equivalent documented combination of training and experience; four additional years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree

  • Minimum ten years' experience on large scale programs of over $5M a year in coordinating program related activities including requirements, resources, personnel, funding, and scheduling activities.

  • Experience supporting program activities using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • The ability to obtain a clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SharePoint user experience

  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Experience in a technical field with exposure to Software Engineering, Systems Engineering and Systems Administrators

  • Experience as a technical recruiter that sourced software and systems engineers

  • Experience in business management, subcontracts, talent acquisition, or security is a plus
