Northrop Grumman Principal Industrial Security Analyst w/ Poly in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

This position seeks an experienced program security officer to work in Annapolis Junction, MD. The security professional will support multiple complex programs as it relates to all applicable federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. Must be able to interpret and execute a security program for an IC client. The candidate will serve as a program subject matter expert on industrial security related activities, and must be able to articulate this knowledge to best support the contracts. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: managing a SCIF environment, supporting a fast-paced, high profile program; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc..). Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Experience with personnel security. Conducts security education classes and related briefings. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related CPSO experience is required or 3 years with MS Degree; An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly. In-scope SSBI required.

4 + years' experience with DCID and/ or ICD(s).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision

  • Experience with the NISP

  • SCIF Management experience

  • Program Security experience.

  • Current and working knowledge of the Intelligence Community.

  • Familiarity with ICD 503, 704 and 705 processes.

  • Must be organized and efficient at time management.

  • Develop and execute program protection strategies for existing programs, developing programs, or new concepts.

  • Classification review experience.
