Northrop Grumman Cyber Systems Engineer 4 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer 4. This position requires an experienced technical leader, computer scientist, software architect, security leader and developer specializing in a systematic approach to cyber security, analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) and proven ability to implement these technologies in a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. Engineer will oversee operations in the Defense information Systems Agency (DISA) Acropolis Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) lab, ensuring work schedules/timelines are met, providing technical guidance and interfacing with the customer on issues related to the lab. Engineer will interface/brief with senior DISA leadership on advanced technology options to include AI/ML, HPC, and hybrid cloud deployments, to increase the Acropolis capabilities in the field of cyber analytics and defensive operations, will develop requirements, recommend solutions and facilitate implementation to include development of strategies, plans, and guides related to the incorporation of these advanced technologies into the Acropolis environment.
This position will be located in Ft Meade, MD.
Oversight of DISA Acropolis JITC lab operations.
Performing site lead duties, including reporting for sub-contractor time submittal, ensure day to day operations are maintained, and provide status updates to on-going projects and tasks.
Providing support as needed to the DISA ID66 Branch Chief in support of Acropolis operations and strategic planning
Providing expert advice to customers and other stakeholders on engineering designs and operational concerns.
Develop growth opportunities for Acropolis and Northrop Grumman leveraging emerging state of the art technologies.
Assist customer with development of advance technology analytic deployments within the Acropolis environment utilizing AI/ML/DL and/or HPC
Briefing technical capabilities and Northrop Grumman strategic Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) visions to DISA senior level leadership
9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD; or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience performing technical leadership duties, such as leading team members, working with cross functional teams, and reporting timelines for projects.
Experience with Agile Development methodologies and Service Design Life Cycle processes
Experience briefing, developing relationships, and working with various levels of leadership
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
Experience with Artificial Intelligence Systems, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning Systems.
Experience designing, deployment, and sustainment of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Sparc, and Big Data Analytics.
