Your Role:

In this specialised role, you'll be at the forefront of operational information and cyber security support for our Defence and Government customers, with a primary focus on the cyberworthiness of the KC-30A Multirole Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft. Your responsibilities encompass the design, delivery, and assessment of information and cyber security controls ensuring protection of vital KC-30A air and ground systems. You'll build strong relationships with Defence engineering and security support teams, collaborate on certification and accreditation activities, implement cyber management plans and maintain essential documentation for supported platforms and programs.

Additionally, you'll actively engage in health, safety, environmental, and quality management, contributing to job risk assessment and incident reporting and response. Your role extends to providing cyber-information security expertise in submissions, working with customers to define cyber security requirements and streamlining processes. You'll liaise with Commonwealth and contracted engineering personnel and Government security authorities to develop strategies for aircraft ICT system enhancements, adhering to ADF airworthiness regulations.

Your typical day will revolve around direct interaction with the Air Force, addressing their specific requirements, conducting security engineering reviews and producing documentation to meet the highest standards. You'll also contribute to strategies to address emerging cyber security vulnerabilities, ensuring that critical capability requirements are met. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing cyber security within the KC-30 and Air Force context, offering essential support to meet security standards efficiently and effectively.

About You :

Demonstrated experience in the implementation and assessment of Cyber and Information Security Policy, experience in ISM, DSPF, PSPF and their application to Defence information and cyber security outcomes. You will also hold relevant industry or academic qualifications in information security or cyber security. Additionally, you will have the ability to hold or maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance as well ability to access ITAR and other export-controlled material.
