The successful candidate will design and develop interactive web/mobile applications, multimedia training and innovative content delivery solutions for virtual and augmented reality. Using modern frameworks and UX best practices, the designer will apply user research, information architecture, rapid prototyping, and web development skills to design new solutions, troubleshoot and implement front-end code for existing or new systems, and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for a wide range of customers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors or related field with 2 years' experience or Associates degree and 4 years' experience

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design skills in web / mobile / multimedia design

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in UX research, web design, information architecture, and front-end prototyping for web/mobile apps

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience coding web pages with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery

  • Demonstrated proficiency designing in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Multimedia experience with Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, Captivate, Animate and other Adobe software a plus.

  • Experience customizing Content Management Systems (Microsoft SharePoint, WordPress, etc.)

  • Proficient use of common rapid prototyping tools (Axure Pro, Adobe XD, etc.)

  • Awareness of new trends in interactive design, web development, and digital platforms

  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility, UX research methods, responsive web design and other standard best practices

  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
