Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Engineer to support satellite related programs. Applicant must be able to apply engineering principles to conduct supporting evaluations and analyses of complex systems to include modeling and simulation, laboratory experimentation, radiation effects testing, data processing and analysis, satellite systems integration, EMI/EMC analysis, and design and maintenance of RF shielded systems. Some travel may be required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering

  • Demonstrated abilities in engineering principles and applied mathematics

  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical skills, written and oral communications skills and the ability to work in an integrated product team environment

  • Must be a US citizen with an activeDOD secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current DOD top secret security clearance

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with leadership quality

  • Demonstrated technical writing skills

  • Experience with MathCAD, Labview, and/or Matlab.

  • Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD software

  • Proficiency with engineering mathematics such as Fourier analysis

  • Experience supporting modeling and simulation, and system/sub-system operational analysis

  • Experience with satellite design and integration

  • Experience with laboratory measurement instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
